Hello, Welcome to my new blog. I am Daniel (KL3TY) I am a licensed Amateur Radio Operator from Eagle, River Alaska. This blog is going to be about my expeditions with Ham Radio and Virtual Ham Radio. I recently became a General Licensed Ham Radio operator. I enjoy working with electronics and I am currently working building a Buddistick, which a homebrew HF antenna. The plans came from Bud (

I have been living in Alaska since April of 2013. I moved to Alaska from Tacoma, Washington with my wife Krystal and my two dogs George Washington (Shih Zu) and Cameron (Golden Retriever)
